This Triumph R1 came to us in classic British racing green with gold front forks. A great looking bike with great scope and a very unique canvas.
Andy came to us with a clear idea of what he wanted. To pay tribute to the Triumph name and the Café Racer era of the 60s. To finish off the theme he wanted his faithful friend ‘Trippa’ portrayed on the back. We had to try and balance a modern bike with images of times gone by.
Whilst remaining true to a modern bike we incorporated classic images of the Café racer days with a modern twist. Giving the illusion of the top of the tank being cut away with a windows to the past, we opted for racing bikes on the tank sides. A tribute to ‘Trippa’ was faithfully placed on the rear and then the modern day ‘R1” was placed on the side with a grunge type background. The black and white chequered front fairing paid tribute to the racing days. All together a balance between old and new.
